100dbs Salutes April 20th

This blog has never been anti-sativa (though it is certaintly anti-Can I Bus?) so why not celebrate the one day that justifies the DEA’s existence?

The homie 100dbs, who you will be learning more from in next week’s Let Me Learn You Something, grounded up a celebratory mix of Sublime, Peter Tosh, Malcolm McLaren, and more for the day where all smoke hounds call out sick from work, stock up on Chee-tos, and get cozy with Cheech Marin, Thomas Chong, and Pineapple Express on Blu-Ray.  At least that’s what Zombie Ronald Regan believes.

From 100dbs:

“I’ve never had this much fun with a mix before. When else have I had an excuse to drop the Minutemen alongside Tenor Saw with bits of a Malcolm McLaren tune creeping in the background? Say what you want about Sublime, but no single group introduced me to more musical styles and eras. I hope in some tiny way, I can show love back by outlining a cross-section of their rich (and poor) musical heritage. All respect due to Bradley and crew.”
